D.C. Model School was established as a coeducational English medium school in Ferozpur Cantt in the year 1947. By the relentless of great visionary, the Late Sh. M.R. Dass founder principal, the school reached dazzling heights and became a name to reckon with in the fields of education in North India. It has the distinction of being the first Model School of the erstwhile composite Punjab including the present day Himachal Pradesh and Haryana. The Ambala branch was established in the year 1992. The new-fangled, D.C. Model International School was established in year 2003 with an aim to provide all round education to the people of the border region. The school admits children belonging to all the strata of the society and inculcates in them a spirit of secularism with respect for all religions.
